This is a good testament of a band who decided to call it quits just when they were getting the buzz all over the internets. According to one of their bios, A Poet Named Revolver is a band of “skinny people with poor eyesight”. I’m sure that’s not very hard to visualize especially when we mention that Lee Noble was in this band along with Steve Molyneux, TJ Richards, and Caleb Steelman. A Poet Named Revolver’s sound is driven by a certain kind of urgency and desperation usually identified with bands like The Microphones but they tread a direction that is entirely their own. Though some songs are more abstract than others, the catchy elements always manage to stick inside your head like chewing gum. Limited copies only! Get this now!
