This is the most recent comix by Andy Goldfarb who also did Ogner Stump’s One Thousand Sorrows. His style evokes a dreamlike (nightmarish?) quality that tread between bizarre and gothic elements . His stories are always told in a smart and witty way though and this comix is no exception. Think of David Lynch and Tim Burton on an acid trip. The protagonist in his stories, Ogner Stump is a rather strange fellow who always finds himself in unfortunate adventures that lead him deeper into the absurdities of trying to do normal things in a surreal world. Goldfarb also performs as “the one-man surrealist band”, The Slow Poisoner.
